My hands have long been a point of contention for me. I have often been embarrassed by how un feminine and quite large they are. This is my therapy. Get over it, me!
oh i understand this one so much. as an artist my hands have always had short nails, look much older than my real age and well, are usually found in my pockets, in fists or behind my back. no one sees my hands if at all possible. love your rendition.

i've got worker's hands with no nails and i know how you feel - but at the end of the day - who cares?

I totally identify - I try to compensate for my big man-hands by the fact that they are very capable hands that make art! Love this self-portrait!
